Dr. Alonso is a Chest Surgeon with extensive experience in
cardiothoracic, vascular and esophageal surgery, as well as
transplantation surgery and immunology. He completed a General
Surgery residency at the University of California San Francisco
and University of Missouri, and then in Cardiothoracic Surgery
at the University of California San Diego. Dr. Alonso has
a special interest in minimally invasive thorascopic procedures
in particular endoscopic thoracic sympathectomy for profuse
sweating disorders, embarrassing blushing and Raynaud's disease.
